Compared to the Western countries, people in Hungary became more careful and less open to new jobs with risks. Geographical mobility has decreased rather than increased. Among the majority of white collar workers the openness to work abroad has been decreasing as the standards of living are less and less different between the EU member states. Changing jobs too frequently (in every 1 or 2 years) can backfire easily. However, people who don’t move for decades can easily be behind compared to the prevailing labor market wages. Anyhow, I am proud that some of our candidates contact us even after 10-15 years and think back to our work together with good feelings.
