The Value of a Recruiter: Why Skipping Agency Interviews is a Mistake

As an agency recruiter, I occasionally encounter a rather strange approach: some candidates say during our first phone call, “I don’t want to waste my time doing interviews with agencies, please send my CV to your client ASAP.”

I couldn’t disagree more with that attitude. If you truly want to land a job with a great employer in a role that’s the perfect fit for you, consider that an experienced recruiter:

✔️ Asks the right questions to help you determine the best next step in your career.
✔️ Knows the client and what they want to hear, offering thorough interview preparation to help you ace the job interview.
✔️ Ensures your application never gets lost and always provides feedback, whether it’s good news or bad news.
