Project MEP Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities of the Role

• Manage the commercial performance of mechanical and associated MEP work packages.
• Prepare budgets, cost plans, forecasts, cash-flow reports and cost-to-complete updates.
• Support procurement, tender analysis, subcontract negotiation and package placement.
• Administer subcontract accounts, valuations, variations, payment notices and final accounts.
• Identify, value and maintain clear records of change, risk and commercial entitlement.
• Work with project, engineering, design and procurement teams to protect programme and margin.
• Prepare accurate client applications and support commercial meetings and negotiations.
• Maintain auditable records and provide timely, concise reporting to commercial leadership.
• Promote collaborative relationships with clients and supply-chain partners.

Your Qualifications and Key Criteria

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a closely related commercial discipline.
• Relevant experience on mechanical, MEP, building services or specialist engineering projects.
• Sound knowledge of subcontract administration, valuation, variation and final-account processes.
• Strong numerical, contractual, organisational and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary project team.
• Competence with standard commercial and reporting software.
• Experience on data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or advanced-manufacturing projects.
• Knowledge of off-site fabrication and installation-led MEP delivery.
