Key Responsibilities of the Role
- Develop, manage, and maintain detailed construction programmes from tender stage through to project completion.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, site teams, estimators, and design teams to ensure realistic and achievable project schedules.
- Monitor project progress and update programmes to reflect live site activities and key milestones.
- Identify potential delays, risks, and programme impacts, proposing mitigation strategies where required.
- Prepare short-term and long-term lookahead programmes to support project delivery teams.
- Support tender submissions through the preparation of preliminary construction programmes and methodologies.
- Analyse project information including drawings, specifications, and subcontractor packages to develop accurate project timelines.
- Attend project meetings and provide planning updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with resource planning, sequencing, and logistics coordination across projects.
- Produce progress reports, programme updates, and critical path analysis for senior management and clients.
- Ensure programmes align with contractual obligations and project delivery requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across project planning and delivery functions.
