Key Responsibilities of the Role
Services Coordination
- Support the coordination of all mechanical and electrical services in line with project programmes
- Liaise with M&E subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
- Review drawings and highlight clashes across M&E, structural, and architectural elements
- Assist in organising and participating in services coordination meetings
- Monitor progress through installation, commissioning, and handover
Planning & Technical Support
- Assist in preparing method statements and services installation programmes
- Review design and construction drawings for compliance and accuracy
- Coordinate technical submissions, materials, and shop drawing approvals
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Support compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards
- Assist with site inspections to ensure high standards of delivery
- Promote a strong culture of health, safety, and quality
Documentation & Project Support
- Assist in compiling as-built drawings, commissioning records, and O&M manuals
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
- Support project and commercial teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery
Your Qualifications and Key Criteria
- Degree (Level 7+) in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or relevant trade background with further qualifications)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Building Services / M&E coordination role
- Experience supporting system installation, start-up, and commissioning
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and MS Office
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Full clean driving licence
- Fluent English
