Key Responsibilities of the Role

  • Develop, manage, and maintain detailed construction programmes from tender stage through to project completion.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, site teams, estimators, and design teams to ensure realistic and achievable project schedules.
  • Monitor project progress and update programmes to reflect live site activities and key milestones.
  • Identify potential delays, risks, and programme impacts, proposing mitigation strategies where required.
  • Prepare short-term and long-term lookahead programmes to support project delivery teams.
  • Support tender submissions through the preparation of preliminary construction programmes and methodologies.
  • Analyse project information including drawings, specifications, and subcontractor packages to develop accurate project timelines.
  • Attend project meetings and provide planning updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with resource planning, sequencing, and logistics coordination across projects.
  • Produce progress reports, programme updates, and critical path analysis for senior management and clients.
  • Ensure programmes align with contractual obligations and project delivery requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across project planning and delivery functions.

  • Highly organised and detail-oriented construction professional
  • Strong technical planning experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple project programmes simultaneously
