Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities of the Role

• Assist in the coordination and supervision of site activities, ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently.
• Monitor construction progress and report on milestones, issues, and deviations from plans.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, building regulations, and safety standards.
• Support the site team in managing materials, resources, and logistics to meet project timelines.
• Conduct site inspections, carry out quality checks, and document progress regularly.
• Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth operations.
• Assist in daily site documentation, including diaries, safety reports, and inspection records.
• Support the implementation of health and safety protocols and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with project managers and design teams to resolve technical issues promptly.
• Contribute to project planning, programming, and problem-solving activities.

Your Qualifications and Key Criteria

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Over 5 years of site-based role within construction projects, essential
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety procedures, and quality standards
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team and coordinate multiple stakeholders
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to safety and quality
