Customs Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Proactively supporting business (incl. Finance & Logistic Teams) in business operations, transactions and procedures to ensure compliance in customs.
• Reviewing the agreements, procedures and other corporate documents in order to manage risks and identify customs obligations.
• Providing customs trainings to company’s employees.
• Leading customs audits; controls, manages litigations, evaluate the associated penal and financial risks.
• Measure the direct and indirect costs of customs, lead initiatives at country level to reduce these costs.
• Benchmark the best customs practices inside and outside of company, share best practices with customs network.
• Preparing applications for binding tariff information (BTI), requests on the custom duties suspensions.
• Monitoring customs law and implementing necessary changes to the business operations to ensure compliance with customs regulations.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• University degree in the field of Economics or Supply Chain
• Experience in cooperation with customs authorities
• Fluent English knowledge
• 5 years experience in Customs area
• Customs classification skills
